Globe Cafe is an organisation run by volunteers for International students at the University of Lincoln. Students of any age, nationality, religion and background are welcome to go and make new friends and practice their English. Events are held every Sunday at The Courtyard in the New Life Centre, which is behind the Odeon Cinema in Lincoln city centre. Most of the activities are based on British culture like the ‘Pudding Party’- a chance to sample traditional British Puddings on October 25th; or ‘Guy Fawkes’ night on November 8th, an explanation and celebration of the British festival Bonfire Night.
Every alternate Sunday is ‘Level Up’ English from 4 – 6pm. All abilities are welcome to either improve your English or begin learning!
